Experienced Roofer
Fontaine Roofing and Siding is seeking a full-time roofing professional to join their team. The right candidate for this position should have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated and goal-oriented, and want to be part of a team environment. Compensation is based on experience.
Personal requirements:
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and know how to keep a clean job site
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Travel to out-of-state job sites (VT and NY) is required
Skill requirements:
- Experience with installation, repair and replacement of slate, asphalt and metal roofing
- Knowledge of current construction techniques and proficiency in measurements
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- The ability to quickly respond to sounds and recognize and respond to dangerous situations is important.
Licensing requirements:
- Must have either a valid driver’s license and a good driving record or reliable transportation to and from the shop.
